Positive: The place was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Remote, private with no urban noise. We had the whole cottage to ourselves, very cosy and relaxing. We could enjoy the lake view from the kitchen or the gazebo. Considering that we were a bit unlucky on the weather, as it was raining almost all days we were there, we could sit in the gazebo and feel almost like being outside 😀. Our dog also enjoyed himself, with lots of space to run around. He even made some friends with neighbour dogs. Very friendly. The hosts provided us with drinking water. There were spices, sugar, vegetable and olive oil, tea, and instant coffee. The heating was turning on 2 times a day. Hot water and shower available. Just a tip if you are reading my review and planning on staying here, take a moisturiser cream with you, as the water is a bit hard and the skin was getting dry. We found grocery stores 15 minutes drive from the cottage, Centra in Scarriff and Aldi in Killaloe. Also, 1 place delivered food by Just Eat - Spice of life Scarriff. We did try pizza and doner kebab, was tasty. So if you need a place to run from the city, this is it.
